Just like some of my characters, I live and work in New York City. Day job and family keep me busy, but I still find time to write and read.
The picture is the view of New York Public Library from one of the office buildings around Bryant Park. To me, this is a perfect metaphor for my life: trying to stay creative and cling to a bit of greenery while surrounded and actively participating in the corporate rat race.
The name is Russian in origin. If you Anglicize it, it’s Elijah Cohen and pronounced like ‘ill-yeah co-gun’.
